The human race is inextricably linked to the ocean.
"Green" is the color of environmentalism, and "earth" is the name of our planet. Yet the oceans make up 71% of Earth's surface and produce 80% of the oxygen we breathe.
The state of Earth's oceans are fundamentally linked to the health and future of global human populations. Admist the climate crisis, The Ocean Link seeks to preserve and uplift intimate snapshots of the youth's experience of the ocean. This is our story. Our existence. Our future.
The Process
We collect submissions from all students worldwide.
We receive a variety of ocean-related materials -- from poetry to art to photographs -- through our easily accessible online form.
We design the arrangement of the materials in our Gallery.
Depending on the style and content of your submission, it may appear in a different way on our site so we can form a cohesive narrative.
The submissions are published for all to observe and share.
More submissions mean frequent updates to our website. Check back often to observe, read, and learn something new!
